Antifa (short for "anti-fascist") is a loosely organized political movement made up of various autonomous groups and individuals who oppose fascism, white supremacy, and far-right ideologies. The movement has no centralized leadership. People involved in this movement use a variety of tactics, including protests, direct action, and sometimes confrontation, to counter what they see as authoritarianism and oppressive ideologies.
Antifa groups have been active in many countries, but they gained significant attention in the U.S. in the 2010s due to their involvement in counter-protests against white nationalist and far-right rallies. Their methods range from nonviolent resistance and doxxing (exposing personal information of extremists) to more aggressive actions like physical confrontations.
The Silent Mutiny can be considered part of the antifacist movement (antifa). However, the Silent Mutiny is also anti-Coporatist, which is against big money control of political and judicial systems and it is anti-religious control.
When governments start trying to blame Antifa for their problems, they are just creating boogymen, because there is no one antifascist group known as Antifa. They use the word to scare people, making them believe that they are the same as Isis or some other terrorist organization, but no. It is only a movement of people wanting economic, environmental, and social justice equality and justice for all. Thus, "Antifa" is a good word. An antifascist is a passionate humanitarian.
