Will your votes help? Not if you can’t find better representatives. Many of your congressmen and senators are power-hungry and for sale to highest bidders, who are rich campaign donors and lobbyists. The only thing they want from you is your votes because your votes give them the power that they can sell to wealthy corporations and the billionaires, your real rulers. Your real rulers only want you to make things from the earth's resources as cheaply as possible and sell them back to you for as much profit as they can.
What do you get? Pitiful long-coming paycheck, culture wars, and false election promises. Not a very pretty picture. The planet suffers and you suffer.
