26. The Low-Carb Vegan Renegade

The low-carb Vegan Renegade who eats to live not lives to eat has the greatest overall lifetime impact of all renegades in the silent mutiny to stop big money's influence by defunding it, to put an end to economic, environmental, and social injustice.

First and foremost, they refuse to eat meat (sentient life) or sugars (the origin of addictive desire). If you look carefully, you will see much of the world’s hate and disrespect for human rights as well as weapon production is originating in areas where meat and junk food production is high. Sugars and starches are highly addictive as they create the blood-sugar-low-blood-sugar-high addiction cycle. They also elicit a stress response that tells the body to not only hold on to fat but to also produce fat if you don’t have enough, and the fat your body produces is very bad for you. Do know that medical research labs produce fatty-liver model rats by feeding them high-sugar diets and cancer cells feast on carbs. So, rejecting sugar and starches (high carb foods) will not only make you healthier and save you future medical costs, it will be daily almost hourly practice in overcoming your addictive behavior, namely your compulsive attachment to false promises and clickbait. The plastic-wrapped junk food market is huge. Avoiding these products saves the earth’s resources in many ways and takes profits away from the powers that seek to poison your health with their addictive food and then “save” you with their overpriced medicines.

Capitalists are afraid of low-carb vegans because they have the smarts and willpower to resist. The everyday man is also afraid of vegans, knowing that they have the type of persistent willpower that they can only dream of having. If you are a successful low-carb vegan, you are already an important participant in the Silent Mutiny. In addition, if you are a successful low-carb vegan, you also have the power to control your consumption of following seven high-impact things.

1. Oils
Besides saying no to meat and sugars, replace all oils that you are using with coconut oil from Vietnam or European olive oil, especially from Portugal and Spain*, or perhaps olive oil from California (after you check out their politics).

2. Certain Fruits and Nuts
Do not eat peanuts, pecans, blackberries, or citrus, especially if produced in the USA because they come from places whose policies are spreading intolerance and hate. If you must have peanut butter, then buy New Zealand peanut butter. It’s delicious and contains much less sugar. Replace pecans with walnuts, blackberries with raspberries, and citrus from Florida with citrus from California. Don’t worry about Vitamin C. There is lots of it in red bell peppers, broccoli, brussels sprouts, and kiwi.

3. Certain Beverages
For the same reasons, do NOT drink bottled water, beer, or bourbon. I highly suggest that you give up alcohol. This very fast-burning substance that metabolizes into sugar is in NO WAY good for you no matter what people and “experts” say, and it perpetuates your other addictions. If you really must drink, then drink dry red wines from small vineyards on the West Coast or Chile.

4. Leather and Cotton
Don’t wear leather or cotton because they are produced in right-winged hate-filled areas of the country. If you must wear them, then wear only used leather and cotton clothes. If you are
buying new clothes, look for clothes made of bamboo especially from Vietnam, silk from Vietnam and Thailand, linen from Ireland, Canada or the Netherlands,Tencel or Lyocell clothes from Vietnam, Portugal, or Austria. Replace all bath towels with face towels. What water is left will evaporate quickly anyway. You not only save huge amounts of water, but you also cut down on cotton and the fossil fuels it takes to dry those big towels.

5. Wooden Furniture
Avoid new wooden furniture for the same reason, as they come from right-winged hate-filled areas of the country. Only buy or trade used wooden furniture or antique wooden furniture. Used furniture does not decrease in value like new furniture and antique furniture increases in value.

6. Plastics and Glass
Radically reduce your use of non-reuseable plastics and glass. Plastics are destroying our environment and our health. Most plastic containers are produced in states with poor human
rights. Get some cloth bags that can be folded up, kept in your pocket, backpack, or purse and use them at the grocery store or better yet at the local farmers’ market. Buy vegetables that are NOT wrapped in plastic.

7. National Sports
Finally, stop watching national sports on TV. Most of the teams are owned by wealthy individuals who have made their money using up the world’s resources and they are supported by sellers of alcoholic beverages, beer in particular. TV sports, much like TV news and some social media shares, are just suspense stories that distract you from dealing with your life. You know that one side will win and the other will lose in the end. It’s always the same. Why waste your time?

In summary, the suggestion here is that the low-carb vegan renegade has the greatest personal lifetime impact of all the renegades in the Silent Mutiny. First, it will make you healthy. Second, if 1/5 the population followed this lifestyle, it would shake the foundations of unrestrained capitalism and corporatism, especially in places high in animal slaughtering, the production of junk food, weapons, and throw-away plastics, air and water pollution, worker abuse, and xenophobia. It also saves sentient beings and water and greatly reduces man’s damage to the atmosphere in many ways.

*Note that although shipping goods internationally leaves a higher carbon footprint, American olive oil production takes place in states that do not support climate change efforts and threaten democracy in the USA, the only hope we have to bring about change. Their profits fund the campaigns of politicians who seek to undermine democracy. The funding needs to be cut. The same goes for peanuts, pecans, cotton, and wooden furniture. These short-term not-so-green practices should produce greener benefits in the future.
