We can no longer continue buying their stories or continue addictively buying their products without sacrificing our own well-being, morale and self-respect, the lives of our brothers and sisters, and the lives of our children and grandchildren. The bees and other insect populations and the birds and other wildlife populations are disappearing. Sea life is disappearing under plastic on the ocean floors. The rainforests are shrinking, and huge mountains of ice the size of Florida falling into the ocean. You may not see it because you are not living in those areas, but you are not exempt from the effects. When the wealthy from those lands buy your lands for higher prices than you can afford, then you lose out.
We are not going to slow down climate change without reducing our consumption. Period.
