The oligarchs have reduced our access to good educations, which would allow us to think critically, and they keep our salaries at a survival level, which means we are too busy worrying about paying our bills to care about politics. They also control the news media outlets, churches, and politicians, who worsen our fears and narrow our options. They convince us the number of options is limited, so we slave, beg, borrow, steal, and kill for them. We keep grabbing for more and more and more and more. The planet cannot provide so much. The earth’s resources are limited, but there seems to be no limit to man’s greed.
